We are happy to announce that we our new exhibition, especially tailored for The Venice Glass Week festival, is ready to start!

The Venice Glass Week is the international festival that the city of Venice dedicates to the art of glass and the program is full of exhibitions, demonstrations, guided tours, online events and more. This year’s festival, now its fourth edition, will place a special focus on the “making” of glass, the artistic and productive activity which has been deeply embedded in Murano’s DNA for over a thousand years, a concept that is highlighted by hashtag #TheHeartOfGlass.

Our original exhibition displays the most representative glassworks and drawings of the family Cenedese Gino.
In a room set up specifically for this occasion, the exhibition will display the works designed by the artists that collaborated with and made special Cenedese glass workshop since 1946 (when Gino Cenedese founded his business) until the beginning of the Third Millennium. Among them, the Italian artist and designer Fulvio Bianconi, the Murano-born sculptor and artist Napoleone Martinuzzi, the American painter Harold Stevenson, and the legendary designer and art director Antonio Da Ros, who always worked with Mr. Cenedese.

The exhibition will be hosted in our premises in Murano from the 8th to the 13th of September, and we will be delighted to show you around!

If you cannot attend in person, keep an eye open for our Instragram account @arscenedese so you are sure not to miss anything!
